I really like the way the Carmel interior looks in the 3G TL.

Did they only come on certain colors? I don't see them very often. I have a SSM and always wondered what the Carmel would look like in my car.

I've only seen the Carmel interior in the black, blue and redondo red. Can someone elaborate on this?

 

Also came in Anthracite. Not sure about WDP or DGP.

I've seen it in a WDP and didn't care for it. Ebony FTW.

 

To my knowledge the only colors offered for SSM were ebony and gray.

I have MRP with that color interior.... that's my favorite interior color regardless of the exterior, though.

 

I have camel (toe) in ABP. I think it's one of the nicest combinations. tan and navy blue always go together well! interior looks so warm and inviting (pun intended?)

your interior is Taupe and not Carmel. I am pretty sure about it, carmel only come in 04-06 model with NBP, ABP, DGP, RRP some in AM and gold color.

 

Carmel is a city in Indiana. Caramel is a candy, sometimes used to describe a color. Camel is an animal, also a mode of transportation in some third world countries, as well an interior color offered on some TL's. A color that would not look good on SSM, IMO.

 

You can also add WDP to that list

 

I prefer chocolate over carmel.

 

Camel was a pretty rare color. I have it in my NBP and had to order it special from the dealer. They didn't have any on the lot in the area. I love it. When I saw the interior at the '04 Chicago autoshow I fell in love with it and knew there could be no other color.

 

Thanks for clarifying. I just love the Camel color, especially the dark blue exterior with camel interior. I'd buy another TL just to get camel interior but I've decided my next TL will be a 4g.

 

Or you could just buy a camel. Might cost more than gas to run it if you feed it fancy bottled water.
