Cargo Nets . .?

1. Does the '05 Acura TL come with cargo nets or is that an optional purchase.
2. Will the Burl Walnut shift knob from the Acura RL work on the '05 TL shifter stalk (same diameter stalk?)
3. Is the wheelwell splash guards an optional extra with the TL's? Can they be had in body colors?

Just a few questions I haven't seen any comments on.

1)cargo net standard
2) don't know probably
3) optional extra but you can easily talk your dealer into including them during the negotiations

Thanks for the fast response. . . I guess I could have waited till I picked up my '05 DWP Thursday but I'm compiling a list of what I want to include in the purchase. . . I'm as excited as a kid at Christmas. . . Then we're off to Wisconsin for a Cooold snowy Christmas on the Family Farm. (driving from Connecticut where it's pretty cold as well.) <Sheesh> never thought to ask if these cars have a good heater in them. I know my '02 RL does . . .

Wisconsin hunh I would get snow tires. The heaters are fine. BTW it is hard to get the shifter off the shaft it is on pretty tight you might want to bring your RL shifter in when you get your car and ask them topopit on. At that point in the transaction there is still a lot of good will. David( who is a not so snappy 53 yo)

The cargo net is stored in the spare tire well.
You can get your dealer to throw in the protection package for free. This includes the splash guards, wheel locks, and trunk mat.

The splash guards only match the black body color. Thats all. But I think they can be painted to match any other color. That's what I plan to do.

Oh yes! I have a winter tire package from The Tire Rack! Do that for all my cars. Some nice Dunlop Graspics and Alloy rims. Interesting the recommended tire config was 215x55x16's. Actually these are coming off the '02 Acura RL. No one does not f. . k around with that in the hills of Northern Connecticut. We get nasty winter here also.

And the all weather mats are a great thing to make them give you too! That's what I did, told them I wanted the splash guards, wheel locks, trunk tray, and the 4 all weather mats.

Not so fast there! Where I'm living these things are selling like hotcakes. Big yuppie area in Farmington CT. Hell this dealer is selling all they get in. So my negotions were a little tougher. I did get the Burl shifter, and bra mask. Mats I had from my Acura RL and they threw in the wheel locks and it came with the splash guards. So, I didn't do too bad considering. AND oh yes, they transferred the snows from my 'RL' to the 'TL' no charge. I'm satisfied. +++ I got Michlien MXV4 tires as opposed the the dreaded Bridgestones everyone talks about flatspotting. So far I've been verrry pleased with this transaction! Now I just gotta learn all the navi stuff before my trip to Wisconsin next week. My motorola BT phone paired with the first try! I was concerned about that since the V710 is not listed as approved for this car... I understand there is supposed to be a firmware upgrade coming for the V710 so I'll wait and hope that makes it 100% compatible (MID display.)

They won't let you walk out the door over a trunk tray and floormats. They sure didn't let me
