I wouldn't even worry about carfax. I hardly ever gets reported. My vw and civic especially my civic had driver side rear quarter panel replaced and bondo the passanger one after old lady backed into my car and the there was the time i rear ended someone in a big pile up. None of them showed up in carfax. Its up to paint shop to report it.
