Carfax
Well at my shop we don't report anything (we would if we had to but no one does) If you are worried about hidden damage I would take it to a Body Shop you trust and have a trained eye look at see what he or she thinks.
I ran a carfax on my car before I bought it and it showed every trip to the dealer that the car ever had. Every oil changed, brakes replaced ect. Not sure if it's the norm, but Rizza Acura somehow linked there service to carfax. Kinda made me feel good knowing the car was in the shop every 5000 miles for routine service. This was worth my money to find out.
