Carbon Fiber Trim

Hey everybody. I installed my comptech shortshifter yesterday (effing awesome, also the instructions posted on this board were really great. It would've been much harder if I didn't have them!) and as I was putting the car back together, the "carbon fiber" trim didn't go back 100% - it snapped in perfectly, but at the top it looks like it could go in more. If anyone is confused, I can take pictures.

Anyone have this problem before, and how to fix it?

Thanks!!

It was the carbon fiber going up from the center console around the radio. however, it seems that it can bend (didn't realize that it could bend...)

I took it off, bent it a little bit, and it looks much better.

r you talking about CF trim that goes around the radio and the 2 pieces for the doors. Mine is silver and I would like to change that with a CF one. Can I see a pic if you have any?

Well, its described as "carbon fiber" but it's really sheet metal patterned to look like it.

However, run a search on "carbon fiber" and see what you find. I ran a quick search for you and found this:
