Too ricey.
Also, someone may step on it and it doesn't look like it can withstand much pressure. You'll probably bang up your ankle on the splitter every time you open the rear doors or vacuum the car as well.

I think it would look a bit out of place on a TL...

And for all the functionality gangsters here on acurazine...the side splitters do in fact provide extra downforce at high speeds.

Just look at some of the JGTC racecars.

Hmnnnnnnn...........and precisely what value is there in that?

by the way...the world would not see it, only a very specific demographic that is targeted by the mag. I think you will get more viewers here than in an low volume enthusiast mag

The way that these are attached will not allow any appreciable downforce to be transferred to the chassis

...well it depends on what all is done to the TL in particular. In UA5specs' case, he has a custom carbon fiber front lip and a rear custom carbon fiber center section. So a side splitter would look in place and in my opinion would be an exceptional modification for his car.

UA6spec.... coming from me i would say order them sons of bitchs and put them on your TL.

I probably should have been a bit more specific in my wording. Perhaps TUNER world is a better term.

I have to vote "no" on this...I think your car looks clean as it is. These will just clutter things up...like you did a mod just to do a mod.

Yes too much clutter. It's all show and no go. So I say no to this item. Thanks all. I'll keep it clean and sporty and yet luxury...

good decision, I think the jacking situation alone makes it a no brainer.

I think something CF that is actually built into the sideskirt, rather than added on would look a lot more complimenting than something than this. Of course we don't have that option.

My vote is a no. Just another thing to worry about when going over bumps, dips, and driveways. They might look good, but for how long?
