Believe it or not I have this choice ahead. A 2008 CBP TLS with 37k and a 2008 Black TLS with 22k, both auto. These are probably the top two colors for me with the TLS.

Strangely enough I don't think the CBP is one of my top choices on the Base, but on the TLS you have enough sport so the color really adds the class you need.

I am going with the CBP after having it checked by an independent mechanic and getting his seal of approval.

I am pretty pumped for the whole thing, gonna be nice to have a sweet car with some serious pony. Or at least it will feel that way for a little while.

What would you go with?

I would go with the CBP as well. Black is a huge pain in the ass to take care of.

 

^^What he said. If you want to wash it EVERY day just so it will look clean then NBP is for you.

BTW OP u brought up a good point with a CBP base TL, it just doenst look right IMO. I feel like there is different paint recipe for CBP on the Base cuz they def. do not look the same in my eyes.

for Base i would go with NBP cuz the base tailights look nice on black since it contains white

The Type S looks great in both colors. Black is a pain in the ass but obviously just looks insane when clean and like carbon bronze matches the wheels and other Type S accents really well.

My 2008 Tl brochure has a couple amazing pictures of both colors. They dont look as cool in these pics but the black Type S in this picture looks incredible. I so want a huge poster of this.

I have NBP CL and it looks clean for a good week before i start noticing it being dirty.

 

CBP all the way. Very unique color. I almost got that color myself but it got sold.

High risk high reward, I almost bought a SSM but the NBP is so nice, I dont mind cleaning it more.

When I clean my NBP the looks I get are incredible. I don't mind the cleaning because the reward is so high.

I'd say go CBP just because its not black or white, it's getting played out. They're not even colors, they're shades.

 

^^^LOL.....bro I didn't know you had a thing for CBP! OP, personally I went to trade in my 07 CBP TL-S for a 07 NBP TL-S because I wanted black for a more VIP look. If you plan on modding your car, make sure you get the color you want to start with.....

 

I started looking at the Type S in 2007 and couldn't make up my mind on the CBP or NBP.
My wife was voting for the CBP and it was sharp. It took me a year to make up my mind with several trips to the dealer to look at both colors. You can't go wrong with either color as long as they both have the ebony interior. I really don't like the cream color interior in any color TL-S.

CBP. I am not a black car fan.

 

Just got my CBP back in April and I love it. I'm glad I chose that color. Not very many are seen my way in Ohio. It definitely turns some heads when it is fresh and clean.

 

You, sir, are a magician if you can keep a black car clean for a week. I've had 3 black cars and while they do look sexy when they are clean its just too much of a hassle for me to deal with
