Pretty good review, but how dare they complain about the great EL42's. Those guys don't know what they're talking about.

They wouldn't know a great tire if it hit 'em in the head and got an instant flatspot.

My response note to the webmaster of AAA:

Hi,

Although I found your review informative, you neglected to indicate that the car is available with a 6 speed manual transmission which:

- allows the engine to get to full power without having to rev it up the the higher RPM's
- has thicker stabilizer bars
- is outfitted with Brembo high performance brakes which substantially reduce stopping distance
- has a additional traction control system in the form of a limited slip differential

Your evaluation of the standard Bridgestone tires is absolutely correct. Beginning February, Acura is installing different tires at the factory and will replace the tires on any delivered 2004 TL when a customer complains.

The vehicle was crash tested on Thursday, Jan 29th by the Institute of Highway Safety. Though no ratings have been published yet, the pictures indicate the passenger compartment remained intact.

Thank you for updating your published information so that potential buyers can make an informed decision.

What does this mean? "Full power" is available at the same revs regardless of transmission.

I find that power seems lacking when punched at about 80, doesn't seem to pull that hard. Not something I worry about though, just a comment.
