Car Sponsorship Real or Fake?

I honestly don't know where this topic goes, but anyways.

So I saw an Ad for http://carsponsorships.com/ and I was wondering if it was legit. You basically pay this $89 fee claiming to get in contact with sponsorships. After that you start with 5 sponsors, and build upon them by going to HIN events wearing their clothes and passing out flyers. Tell me what you guys think about it, they are apart of BBB and so on. Free parts sounds too good to be true. Also there is a 30 day money back guarantee if you don't like it.

The only way to get sponsered is through an parts vendor. I remember a few companies, would look for sponsers you didn't have to pay anything all you had to do was install the parts, take professional photographs of the parts installed and participate in 10 auto events in a year to advertise for the company.

I knew of a few people who were sponsored they said it was tedious to keep up with events and taking pictures and stuff, so they gave all the parts back.

*edit* Also the people who sponsor only look for specific cars, I doubt there are any people who want to sponsor a TL.

I agree it did sound quite tedious. You mention your friend giving back his car parts, is that required if you stop attending events etc? As for the TL part, they actually already approved my car. I just feel how many parts can you get for a TL, the only kits available are ronjon and aspec (i believe). They also have a limited amount of sponsors (33).

I have seen cars with full ads plastered on them, I think the sponsors pay for a portion of the vehicle.
