My car got backed into in a parking lot by an SUV.

I will need a new fender... but was thinking. Has anyone seen carbon fiber fenders for the TL? This could be a good excuse to get some weight savings on the front end of the car.

Ah man sorry to hear about that. I remember specifically with one of my Subarus when a 12 passenger van backed into my car in the middle of an empty parking lot and tried to run away. Fortunately I saw him, called him out on it and ran out and made him pay for the bumper cover replacement and 3 days worth of rental car. Probably one of the most expensive mistakes the guy had ever made.

I can't think of any company off hand that makes carbon fiber bumpers, but honestly you're not going to save a ton of weight vs. how much it's going to cost. Bumper covers hardly weigh anything and I've taken off several TL front fenders and they really dont weigh much either.
