car in the dock for over a week

My 04TL/Auto/Navi will be in the dock for over a week, while we are gone on vacation. What are the chances of running out of battery? I haven't setup HFL.

Any extra precautions that I can take before leaving?

Thanks.

I think that battery problem only exists in certain cases. When i firt bought my car, i had to leave that same day for a week. Whne i got back, first thing i did was rip the air apart with vtec, had no problems with the battery.

shouldnt be a problem unless you have a bad battery like many other TL'ers here on the forum. i dont drive my car on the weekdays, only on the weekends and have no problem starting up at all.

Battery

I spent part of the summer in Argentina and was gone for 2 months. WHen I returned, my battery was dead...really a goner. Had to have my car transported to the dealership and the battery replaced. I noticed that the battery is made by Delphi and hope their batteries are better than their radios.

If you're worried about it I would recommend getting something like this ...

You charge it ahead of time and leave it in your glove box. If you come back to a dead battery plug it in to the lighter and in 10 minutes you've got enough juice to start 'er up.

Here's a link to one example, (it's just to show you what I'm talking about, I'm not recommending this brand)

if ur goin away it may not be a bad idea to disconnect it, while it will disable the security system, the car wont start, also less of a chance of depletion.
