anyone know what the regulations are for the car cover on the street?

if its covered, how are they (cops) gonna give tickets for no front plate, and inspection sticker... etc.

As far as I know, the only time plates must be shown is when you are driving your car on the highway. The only problem with a cover on the street is people stealing it, or using it on a dusty car where it will cause scratches in the paint. Only put a cover on freshly washed car, otherwise the cover will rub the grit and cause severe swirl marks in the paint. Sometimes car covers are more trouble than they are worth....trust me..I've had 3 covers on 3 cars, and the idea was good, but they just became a pain in the ass and didn't do what I wanted them to do...keep the car clean....they actually did more damage than not using the cover.

I cover my car only at night......plus its locakable so its extra piece of mind if someone wants to steal my car(might slow em down a little till I arrive w/ my pager alarm)
