Can't tell the diff between side lip kits

Is it me? Or the side lip kit is barely that much different from no side lips? Are there members here who only purchased front and rear lips?

There is actually a noticible difference. If you had just the front and rear without the sides it would look funny IMO

I don't know right now i have the front and the rear lips and i am considering to leave the stock sides lips, because for me they make the car look wider, but i am not sure what to do!

I bought the a-spec in pieces too, and rocked without sideskirts for a while because I thought it made the least amount of difference so I got it last. Its kind of true, but with the sideskirt, it looks complete now and it actually makes the car LOOK lower by a bit.

And it actually is wider than the OEM sideskirt. I (my passenger too)occasionally step on it by accident as I get off the car.

the aspec sides are bigger, wider, and make the kit complete. they are definitely worth getting IMO.

You shouldn't say "No side lips" just stay stock side skirts, I was thinking literally no side lips haha.

Anyways, yeah it's a big difference at first I thought it would not be, but the type-s aspec kit has distinctive curves.

I considered doing just the front and rear until I saw one in person. It doesn't look horrible without the sides, but to me it appears as though something is missing. Here is a pic of a black one that I looked at when shopping for a TL. THe flaring does not match up.

it does look alot better with the complete kit, the side skirts have more definition in them than the stock skirt and fits the flow from front to back with the definition in the kit. better to get the whole kit than just do front and back IMO

A little off topic, but somewhat related.. Does the 06-07 base rear lip fit the 04-06 bumpers? Has anyone tried this? thx
