Can't decide....can you help me?

Hi.
I'm trying to buy a used TL in 2 months. I found 2 TLs that will fit in my budget, but can't decide which one would be better.
I would like to hear what you guys think.

I would go for the 2005. 2004 models have more tranny issues.

What mileage is good for 2005 models? Is it ok if I get little over 50k mileage one?
Thanks.

@ 15K a year a 2005 model would be at 45-50K so that car is right inline...2004 is also in line

you will have to put tires on the 04 car, can't really tell with the 05 :P

if it isn't tinted, do that expecially on the car with the black interor.....that sucks in the summer time when it gets HOOOOOTTTTTTT

Hard to tell but from the looks of it the 05's rear bumper's color is off (compared to the rest of the car).

I'm sure he will take a closer look in person.

To the OP, front and rear bumpers ARE off a few shades from the rest of car on most cars today. The bumpers are made differently then the rest of the body with flexible but stronger material, resulting in a different painting surface.

My 08 WDP it's the same, with bumpers being slightly darker.

I have a tip for you... don't buy it from McGrath!

They consistently charge $1-2K more than anyone else in the Chicagoland area.

Remember, thats $23K + tax + fees. Depending on which county you live in, that could be almost $2K!

At Muller, I could've picked up an 05 non-nav with ~50K miles for $22.8K all inclusive. I didn't take it but I'm just giving you an idea.

I was patient and got one from a private seller for $21,750 including tax and Acura's 7yr/100K mile bumper-to-bumper extended warranty (2005 Nav w/ ~50K miles).

might want to look for a better deal. I got my '06, non-nav, 6spd man, 19,000 miles for $22,495. And from a dealership at that.

Whatever you do make sure you get one with Nav. Its worth it. Besides since its a pre-owned vehicle it shouldnt cost you that much more cause it has Nav vs. Non-Nav.

Definitely go for the 2005. Try to talk him down. I paid 23.5 for an 05 AT NO NO NAVI WITH 33K MILES in Sept.

Go with the 05, the 04 looks like it needs new tires, 04 looks like it's rear bumper has been repainted, the 05 (silver) has factory paint (mismatched rear bumper came from the factory)
