Question canadian leases

Hi all
I'm looking to lease a dynamic package with zero down. So far I've been offered 1000 of off list (basically the PDI) but the dealer is asking for a security deposit. I did not pay one on the 2000 Integra. Are security deposits normal for the TL or is the dealer just trying to make up his discount.
I'm also looking at adding the lip spoiler and 18" wheels and can't get a discount on this stuff - anyone have better luck?

Hey,

I recently leased a 2003 TL-S in Toronto - I put $1,000 down and no security deposit. So it is not required, but it will probably depend on your credit history.

Good luck.

I can suggest you see Tony at Sherway Acura. He is in Mississauga. If you leased the Integra from Honda Canada Finance you should not have to pay the security and you should get a quarter point discount (7.75->7.5).

If you went to term with your integra and all payments were OK the dealer gets an approval that states your SEC DEP is to be waived. This is a big scam that some dealers are doing now.
They will ask you for a 500-1000 sec dep, but the lease agreement does not reflect it. They basically pocket the money and tell the lender it was for accessories. Watch out for it!
I bought directly from the business manager @ Acura North Toronto. I think because he doesn't normally sell cars he got me a sweet deal. $1200 off the car and the 18's with rubber for $4600.
If your looking for a good deal ask for Felix. He is a very cool straight up guy.
