Can we say "New Seat"

I hope this never happens to anyone. Last Friday my car was broken into. I walked up on my car and the window was gone. Of course my stomach dropped then I was pissed. Even more pissed because they didnt take anything but my owners manual. WTF.. Yeah it had my radio/navi codes in it but the navi was fine and the radio. Then I was pissed because I couldnt go to the SoCalMeet on Sunday.
Well here are the pics. The passenger seat is "sligtly" scratched but I think its worth a new seat. I know I will have to fight with the insurance company for that one.

Damn... hurts my heart to see that. That's a freakin' greek tragedy. Hopefully the insurance company doesn't dick you over and you can get it fixed. Either way, you gotta a lot of cleaning up to do. That's a lot of shattered glass.

No, that seat is definitely scratched and torn...it should be replaced (the leather), no question. Good luck with it.

It was parked around the corner from a bar I was hanging out at that night. No alarm. Even if I had one I dont think it would stop them, and it was to far away to hear it.
I dont take my car out that often and Ive been in the area several times.

I'd be a little leery as they might come back for the radio/navi now that they have the codes. They might have been scared off and didn't finish the job.

Sorry to hear about the bad news.

Where in San Diego were you parked?

I wonder what they did to have scratched the seats and door trim. Looks like it could have been from their clothing?

I know how you feel, I was in Queens and had my car broken into. The took everything that wasn't attached to the car, including the floor mats, owners manuel, stereo, amps, coins in the center console, I WAS SO PISSED, I wanted revenge but never got it.

I live in Spring Valley. I was parked off of University near Texas street If they have my navi/radio codes good luck trying to find my house. Its on a private road in the hills, seriously. Loki has come over before ask him.m
Plus they would have to break into my garage to get the car at that point.

WTF, they go through all the trouble to just get your owner manual?
Didn't realize those manual in such demand. I better ebay mine before it gets cold.

Sorry to hear about the broken window. My wife's car was broken into when she was out playing night golf at Loma Santa Fe. Sucks.. luckily, there wans't much damage to car seat, but they did stole her purse.

DMZ - I think you need to run for President!

What about world ruler?

You missed one thing though. After beating them, back the car up over them a few times.

I go the the Ould Sod pub in Normal Heights all the time, I guess I'll take the wife's Xterra from now on. That's a real bummer for you TL buddy!

I am taking all my codes out of the car tonight!

Let us know what the insurance company does for you.
