Can I Turn Rotors/Bleed with Old Pads?

I'm pretty sure I have a slightly warped rotor. Brakes are fine and pads have plenty of life but I'll be selling soon and would like to try and get rid of the warping.

I would of course flush/bleed the lines.

you can flush the brake fluid at any time regardless of pad and rotor condition

The shake usually comes from the rotor itself, and you would have to resurface or replace to get rid of the shake, or take that cost off the selling price

LF RF RR LR

figure on 1+ qts to do a good job- use DOT4 fluid

Using old pads on new/resurfaced rotors is fine as long you bed them in afterwards. Bedding properly will reshape the pad surface to the new rotor surface. Sometimes bedding alone can alleviate warped rotors as well. Of course it usually comes back after a while...

If the rotors are warped, then resurfacing usually only buys you some time. With the same pad compound and driving style, the problem usually comes back. I would at least try re-bedding before I went and bought new rotors though...

The best to go is just replace the rotor ... But for a temp fix the best is to resurface the rotor and bed in the pads so they match he rotors o doubt the warp will be gone for longer then like six months

You can resurface the rotors at anytime, as has been mentioned.
