Waiting 90 days for my car to be built was bad enough, but now it's gotten even worse. I was called a little over a week ago and told that my VIN number had come in. I'm expecting the car to arrive any day now. I find myself staring at the phone, waiting for it to ring! My wall paper is of the interior of an Acura. I find myself thinking about it constantly. I think I'm on the virge of going crazy with antisipation. Whoooaaaa is me.. whoaaaa is me. I think I'm even starting to develope a twitch! heh

I believe I need professional help!

The only thing worse than waiting 90 days for your new TL is reading about probems with the car on this forum on each of those 90 days. By the time I got mine I was afraid to touch it.

I now have a trouble free 500 miles on it.

I read your posts concerning your 2002 Acura TL and its tranny problems. I think your assertion might be inaccurate. First, you didn't sue them. You filed a complaint with the BBB. Big difference. Second, your complaint with the BBB was not for "mental anguish," but for breach of warranty. Breach of warranty is based on contract, which does not include damages for emotional distress. I can understand your exhilaration for having negotiated a good deal with Acura, but you did not sue, and you did not receive damages for mental anguish.

Yeah, I have a feeling I'm going to be very paranoid when I get my car. Whenever I feel a bump in the road, I'm going to be thinking "Was that a vibration? I think that was a vibration!".

I ordered my TL eight days ago and was told I would have it in mid April, well got a call today and my car is in (somehow the dealer traded with someone else and got the car)! Pick it up tomorrow, I lucked out. It's just how I wanted it with 4 miles on her.
