Camel w/ CF instead of Plood.........

I like the camel interior, however, I really dont like all of the plood. Is it possible for someone to photochop camel interior with the carbon fiber inserts?? I am willing to spend the 800-900 it would cost to buy the CF inserts and have them installed when my car is delivered. I really DONT want to buy the plastic pieces that fit over the existing pieces. thanks!!

i think the camel and the carbon fiber color look would clash too much. the interior is a more earthy color while ebony and quartz is darker. if you really want carbon fiber trim i believe there was an entire kit that you can get of ebay. but you know how those things are.

not sure you could order the CF pieces seperate from the door panel, unless the dealer is willing to do it

Wow, I actually think Acura sells the plood/CF insert pieces separate from the door. They didn't do it on the 99-03 TLs.

Check out the pic from: www.acuraautomotiveparts.org

Part #s 33 & 41 (bottom right) I have a 99, so someone tell me if the plood/CF pieces are shaped like those parts

what do you all think, would that look good? if I am going to pay 35k for a car, I am willing to spend an extra $$ to make the interior the way I like it.

Wood accent pieces

I did this to my TL but in reverse. I have Quartz and Anthracite. I ordered the pieces through my dealer's parts dept. prior to my car coming in. The cost was around $300. I then had the dealer take out the CF pieces and swap them for the Wood tone pieces OEM. The cost for this was about $800. So you may be the first to do it with Wood switched to CF. The kit that was mentioned is an overlay that sticks to the Wood toned pieces. I have the kit to complete my look with the added locations having overlay. The comment above is correct. It is your $35K car. Make it an even more pleasurable experience to your tastes if you want to. And yes it can be reversed. However, it would be another $800 to change back! :boinkugh:
Good luck with your decision. I love my result!
