Caliper Anodized?
What do you guys think about painting the calipers red? would it ruin the look or enhance it? I think it would look very nice, but most of my friends disagree.. thats why i turn to you wise sages..

I have thought about painting my rear calipers black to match the black Brembos in the front.
Personally, I wouldn't paint my calipers anything but black...but then again I've been accused of being color blind...

The calipers in the back look ok painted, the suface area on the rear is not as big as the brembos in the front....so the visual impact isn't as great.......but i like it better this way.

I just painted my calipers red, it doesnt look as good as I thought it would. I used the G2 system before I have always used spray, but G2 is so much easier to apply, and also has excellent finsh. As far as purchasing the G2 tire rack is pretty pricy buy it from www.newlevelmotorsports.com - its 23.99 and they have fast shipping and the price for shipping is only 3 to 4 dollars.

The G2 RED looks great on my S2000 - which is silverstone with red & black leather interior. I think unless you have done some performance mods, putting it on a regular TL might look a bit out of place.
But the "neutral colors": silver, black, would look good, and keep the calipers looking good for a long time - the stockers look pale after a while.
The stock calipers are I believe zinc dichromate plated - not anodized.

Do TL's produce that much brake dust? I have never had to clean my calipers in the past due to dust. I do wash the car about once a week though.

my TL is black/ebony and i painted it black. it looks pretty good but realy wanted a color that shows more but i think red is too flashy for this car. i was thinking blue b/c its not too bright but sticks out a little but not too much, but dont want try it till i see it.
