California Duster

I just ordered a California Duster Kit (Primary & Dash dusters, plus the water drying blade) from www.autogeek.net and was wondering if anyone else have success with these products?

I will use the duster on occasion, but only under certain conditions:
- the car is not too dirty, just light dust
- the car is cool to the touch and out of the sun
- I still follow up with a quick detail spray and microfiber cloth.

If I just use the duster, it will sometimes leave streaks and doesn't get all of the dust. The quick detailer finishes the job.

As for the "water blade", one will never touch my car. I see no reason to risk damaging the finish on your car, when there are better ways to dry that are still very easy.

Just my $.02

I use both duster and blade. One trick I learned (the hard way) this past weekend ... when done with your blade, spray some Turtle Wax Bug and Tar Cleaner on both sides and wipe it down. Removes any creepy crawlies and other dirt that may accumulate - especially tar from the car's bottom panel you may have missed.

I keep my car in a garage (a/k/a the dungeon) and it gets filthy in there. I put a coat of Maguire's on and swipe it with the duster before every ride. Keeps the car looking great between washes.
