MPG 'sensor' is not a sensor, it's a calculation.
Temp Sensor test:
You can also adjust the temp readout in the MID if it's off. I think the range of adjustment is either +-3 degrees or +-5 degrees. The procedure is in the Owners Manual, iirc.
