cai and warrranty
recently installed a cai into my type s and its almost due for an oil change, if i bring it into acura for oil change would they make some bs to void my warranty?? i live in canada btw

A; why are you gtting oil changes at acura?
B: in a warranty claim, the item has to have caused the damage to void coverage
you cant drop the car and complain when the cv joints go out early~

basically what he said is that it will void certain warranties, suppose one of your suspension components break on your car. Your dealer can simply say that the part wasn't designed for the extra power from the CAI and broke, thus voiding the warranty.

If ur driving in rain and your car shuts off, remove the CAI, put the stock one back on, then take it to the dealer....if they find water in ur cylinders and you have a cold air on, its pretty easy for them to pin point the cause and deny coverage of the repairs under your warranty
