Got T-boned in an intersection. Old guy ran a red. The auto shop guy estimates the damage at $14K. He's recommending to the insurance to declare it a total loss. If so, I'll be stripping it of aftermarket stuff. I'll see if anyone's interested in anything once I get em off.

good to hear you are safe The TL was designed to protect it's owner. Look up member deathtotoasters, he had a grey TL that was modded to death, and he was T-Boned by a truck doing 50. Came out with a few broken ribs and and broken arm from the passenger side... For the stuff you want to sell, post a FS ad in the black market so all people can see it and not just us.

Thanks guys. I'll post everything I have in the black market once the car's been totalled out. There are some parts that I wouldn't be able to remove, like lowering springs, but if someone has equipment or knows someone that does, please let me know.

That sucks man, glad to hear you're alright though. That's all that matters. Take that insurance $$, get a TL-S and put those after market parts back on!!

If not, and you're selling a comptech exhaust, well then let me know! lol

Glad you made it okay! Side impact collissions are no joke! My first Evo and a tree taught me about that...

It is better that the car is totaled, not you. What was the extent of your injuries if any? I am curious how TL drivers are affected when they get in accidents.

19" VIP Modular 3 piece. 8.5" front/9" rear. 2" lip front /3" rear.

No serious injuries...yet. Just the usual neck, shoulder and back pain. No broken bones. My left arm was numb the day of the accident. My fingers get tingly if I use my left arm too much. I've been having some bad headaches the last 4 days. Doctor said it's likely from whiplash or concussion. I'll need to schedule an MRI.

Auto shop guy said car held up pretty well considering the other driver hit me at 40-45 without braking. No frame damage but damage to center pillar is pretty bad. He doesn't think car will drive the same after repairs that'll take close to 2 months.
