I am planning on buying a used Acura tl type s 2007-2008 model 120k driven. I would like to know what are some things i should make sure to check before buying the car.

take it one of your mechanics to take a check on the car. When i got my TL i was too eager to buy it and it ended up costing me about 1000$ to fix up my brakes, oil pan was leaking so i had to swap that, plus my power steering pump leaked as well so that had to be replaced and i had to replace my side engine mount which was causing a lot of noise and shaking when i was accelerating.
Take it to a mechanic, if i could go back, thats what i wouldve done. then perhaps i couldve waited for a better TL to come buy. But i got it for 3500$ so it was a bargain for me.

also remember to check for the littlest things. Like maybe engine mounts. Those little things can add up LOl. Take in account of everything that could potentially be problematic with the car. Also, test out the tranny and see how it runs. Ask about its history and fluid changes.
