My dad is planning to buy a TSX for my sister and a TL for himself. We will be buying in the socal region. Both will be 5 speed auto with navi. What approximate prices or what is a good price to get both at in the LA area. Most dealers want some sort of markup. So far we have got 33995 on the TL and 28000 on the TSX..we have got some other prices as well, but those are the best prices yet. My dad wants to see if he can take off a bit more off..maybe 200 or so each on both of them. Any good dealers to go to in LA?? Which ones do u guys recommend...

I live in Michigan - but from reading previous posts on here, it seems that most of the dealers in the so cal region are not moving from msrp very much... so if i had to guess any discount is good... but others on the forums in that area will have a better idea.,... good luck with the purchases!

 

CaliAtenza, Keyes claims to beat any so cal quote, so they will likely be your best bet for both cars. I don't know what price I'll be getting from them though, I guess I'll know when I get closer to buying. There are a few members around who have bought their cars there, and they did infact beat the quotes.

I believe they are either the largest dealer in CA, or the largest in the West. Probably both :P Cerritos would be $2.

I think a good chunk of dealers are offering 1500 off MSRP, which is what you were quoted. I think Santa Monica, South Bay, and Downey. Probably some others as well. With so many dealers offering the same price, you may have a bit of room for bargaining.

 

I'm on the other coast (Florida) so I won't give you dealers, nor exact purchasing figures, however I will applaud your dad's choice of cars. We also bought a TL and a TSX this summer, and are happy with each. We went for 6-speeds, however.

I'd recommend beating them up firmly on the "I'm buying TWO cars" front, along with the numbers from Edmunds. Be firm, pick the end of a month (or the end of a calendar year) to get a good price. We beat up a dealer pretty well once, on December 31st.
