I've been looking for a manual transmission TL for some time now and I think I have finally found the right one. Its a 2006 white diamond pearl non navi 6mt with 95000 km (I'm in Canada). The seller want $13000. The 6mt is very hard to find around here in ontario without sacrificing a lot of km or a lot of $$$$. The vehicle is in another province so I would have to fly down and drive it home about 20 hrs. He said there is some ticking when turning sharply so I assume I have to replace the CV shaft.
Do you think I would be ok to drive 20hrs with a worn CV??
Anything else I should specifically ask or look for??
Any thoughts on the price??

My only advice is get Navi. I was about to buy a non-navi TL but I spent a littlemore and got one with Navi. I will never regret it.

The navigation in these cars is pretty archaic, it just looks nice. Better off just buying a Garmin with free lifetime updates.

Not sure on what the Canadian market dictates as far as pricing but 95k Km = 59k miles and that seems awfully low to be having axle problems. Mine are fine at 87k miles.
