you won't regret going with TL-S, unless if you wait for TSX v6.

i've driven 2g tsx for 3 days as a loaner, plus my friend has one that i get to drive time to time. TL-S is a far better vehicle overall.

No car manufacturer is that dumb and if they are its definitely not Honda. You should look at the additions on the pre-release specs posted over the net and you'll see that there is more to it than just the engine. So once again I respectfully and completely disagree with you.

I see your point I am sure you see mine too. I guess my strong opinion about TSX came from my test drive of the current version. I had quite a bit of expectation when I first saw the car. But when I test drove it, it drove nothing more than an old civic I had. I was holding onto my life when I pushed it. I was totally disappointed more than not having enough power. If they are not putting in a whole new steering rack they are not going to make it a performance car period. What are the chances?

I guess soon we'll be able to tell.

I had a 09 TSX for a week as a loaner, the TL Type S feels so much better. Nothing special about the TSX. Get the TL.

Your absolutely right.. the TSX feels cheap, I won't diagree to that and that's why I would rather get the TL, since I'm not on the road to race all the time, I prefer the ride and quality of my interior and the feel of a solid car rather than as you said "civicy".

But remember the OP actually likes the TSX and its interior. That's why I think he'd be happier with the V6 TSX over the TLS.

Used TL-S. Even thought I think the 09 TSX is a nice car. I had a loaner 09 TSX for 10 days and liked it alot. BUT I still prefer my NAV on my 06.

Once I was back in my 06 manual TL, then I realized how much more I enjoy my TL over the TSX.

Get the TL-S or wait for V6 TSX manual.

I had this dilemma when the lease on my '06 tsx ended. My mom has an '08 MDX so I'm well familiar with the navi. To me, the navi in the TL-S and the '06 TSX is more intuitive (but to each their own). I didnt like the somewhat cheap interior of the TSX, but I did like the fact that it has a HardDrive Navigation and a USB connection. I also really like the exterior of the TS (yes even the grill , it looks better on the TSX then on all the other Acuras). As for power, no question about it that the TL-S kills the TSX. I am not a speed racer by any means, but having the V6 power available when necessary (to merge onto highway, to use the a/c and have 4 people in the car, etc) is unbeatable. Overall, I prefer the TL-S and that's what I would suggest for you to get

As of right now, there are no plans in the works for a V6MT TSX, which sucks BTW.
