Bumps

I have 3 bumps on my rear bumper. It's more like it's kind of deformed. You can't see it unless you look at it from an angle and with the reflection from the surroundings. You can't feel it if you run your fingers through it. The paint is not scratched or chipped. Wonder why it's like this?

Anyone have this also?

Yea, you can say that. It's only noticeable from an angle and in direct reflection. Can't feel it though.

Probably just a wave in the plastic, alot of urethane bumpers have it.

I'll try to take a pic tomorrow. I doubt it'll come out on picture.

Is your paint scratched, chipped or just have the bubbles/bumps?

Yeah I got a small imperfection in my rear bumper from where my gf bumped my car with hers. There is no scratch, no paint damage, and the wave is only visible in direct light, so I dont care.

What you have there is a run in the paint. Basically there was a drip in the paint, and as it was going down it dried.

rets: It's not like the pics you posted. It's not noticeable like that. It's really not noticeable. It's just that I want to know what can cause this.

Yeah thats just a wave in the plastic, nothing u can do about it short of sanding it down & using filler.

Jet look at the reflection of the fence posts on the vertical part of the rear bumper, see how post # 7 & 8 are bent together and the rest are straight up & down, thats the wave he is talking about ( I assume anyways)

Your right jtkz13. That's what I was talking about. So a lot of bumpers are like this from the factory?

Thanks JetJock. It is a little dirty. NBP is so hard to keep clean.
