Bumper Stained - 1 Month Old
Bumper Stained - 1 Month Old
Ive had my Car for just a month now. ive washed it 2 times a week since ive had it...
Last time i washed was tuesday and dressed the tires with Black Magic Foam. Today im washing the car and notice these spots around behind the rear tires, on the plastic bumper...stained on both sides of the car... i washed, dried, applied some cleaner wax, and also tried some bug & tar remover...and these stains appear to be in the bumper for good. Im dissapointed, since ive had a Toyota Echo for over three years, and used the same product to dress the tires on it. The Echo has Plastic bumpers also, and there are no stains on it of any kind. Anyone have any idea what this may be caused by? Anything I can do to try and get it off?

Hard to say what that is from. It could be from something that you drove through rather than the tire product.
Still not sure what it is but a professional detailer might be able to buff them out.
Hope it works out for you.

i will clay it also, if not working a little polisher past could do the job, although it's more abrasif
Last month i had some paint spot, from i don't know where, i used clay bar and it was ok. I used clay bar from Meguiar sold with the detailer spray.

Try Rubbing Alcohol .. if that doesn't work take it to the dealer .. the clear may be porous and not prperly cured .. I saw this same thing on a Dodge Caravan a couple months back .. dealer resprayed.
