that's because there is literally NO after market support for this vehicle.

Cody, you're smart, why not make a custom bumper or make those bumpers you saw for the 04-06 years fit your car?
you can do anything if you put your mind to it.

What am I missing here? Cody search for ASPEC 2007 TL Type-S on google. That is the best lip IMHO for the Type-S.

Pockets better be deep because its not cheap. Make sure you read and search the performance section and gather as much data as you possible can.

I just did the '06 '07 sti lip today. I think it looks nice and bolted right up to my '04 base. Just a cheap simple solution until I get an aspec lip. $60 online. It's the chargespeed 2 style lip.

Hey Mfergie,

Assuming you dipped the wheels, what color PlastiDip did you go with? I have a DMM and want to dip the factory wheels a darker bronze to accent the gold color of the car.

Lip looks good too, btw! I gotta find me a A-Spec ASAP tho...

looks SUPER weird on a otherwise stock car.....
I bet the STi lip would look good on a modded car.....but for now, eww!

but props for showing OP what can be done with a little thought, trial and error

I've been wanting to put one of the lips on too, can you post some clearer pics? how's the fitment in the middle?
I was looking at the ones without the wings on the sides.

I can post clearer pics tomorrow but the middle has a tiny gap on each end because the lips center section is a little shorter than the flat section on the bumper but honestly you have to try to be able to notice it.

here I circled where there is a tiny, and I mean millimeters tiny, gap. the rest bolted up nice and flush. honestly looks like it was made for the car other than those very minor gaps. I'm going to see if I can't get it to sit even better tomorrow.

I like you car but I do not like that lip at all, I'm sorry.

Im thinking if it had the A-spec lip it would look better. Hard to say though. I do like the colour of the wheels though

yeah I am doing the ua7 aspec front lip with that splitter on it. just waiting on the funds for the aspec. figured why not just see how it looks on the base bumper. I also need coils in a BAD way so that's next! appreciate the feedback!

Yeah that's saucy.

So, you recieve the lip and the middle is flat with the rest but you push it up into the raised middle portion of the bumper?

pretty much. the middle is a little bit raised so it was easier. the middle section of the lip is a little shorter than the middle section on the tl bumper so there's just a tiny gap on the very endd of the middle to where the tl bumper bumps down

I'm thinking of 2 or 3 spacers between the lip and raised section of the bumper, to keep it more level and not push it up. possibly 2 , one on each side in line with the bumper vents.

I don't like it either. Doesn't fit with the lines of the car. That's why I put a base lip on my type s. It's all personal

lately I've been thinking about doing the 07 base lip with my splitter. I think it would flow wonderfully!
