Brushed or Satin? Anti-Slip or Not?
okay...i have made a few threads about Aluminum Pedals....and what types there were etc...and im fed up with searching i think im just gonna spend the money and buy the ultimatepedals....even though it will cost me like 200 i would like this nice set of pedals but what im wondering which should i get...and if the Anti-Slip are actually worth the extra 20 bucks per pedal......
these are the satin smooth
these are the brushed smooth
these are the brushed anti-slip (box pattern)
these are the satin anti-slip (box pattern)
i plan on getting Brake...Gas..and Dead Pedal....Pedals...and im just very curious as to if the Anti-Slip pedals are worth the extra money and if they make that much of a difference and what exactly looks nicest i have a Satin Silver 2004 TL with black interior so these aluminum pedals will go nicely....

Seriously think about why you are doing this. I know it's your money but many total metal pedals are a real PITA if they get wet or you pick up any oil on your feet from the gas station! You might want to get a little of the black non-skid traction stuff to put on them.
I've had metal pedals and almost had a seriously bad accident when my foot slipped off the pedal and I had to brake hard in an emergency situation because there was a little bit of grime on my shoes. After that I always made sure to wipe the pedals and my shoes off if it was raining. I personally think this is one of those ideas that seem better in theory than in practice but to each their own. I'll never do it again except on a total race car.

i understand where your coming from with that and im willing to take those obligations i wash my car often and i clean it very often too....but i really can't stand to look down at plain old stock pedals and i don't have a problem with spending that kind of money but if i do spend that kind of money i would like to get my moneys worth

Just keep some paper towels handy after you get out at the gas station. That should help limit the risk. Of the pics you have, I'd go with the last ones, satin with anti slip. They'll show less marks if you have pebbles trapped in your shoe treads. Now all you have to do is get some racing shoes to go with them.

I opted for the brushed anti-slip (box pattern) pedals because I was concerned with slippage. These pedals are much grippier (is that a word?) than you might think.

im assuming from what they look like that the Regular BRUSHED or SATIN pedals would look nicer and more sleak then the anti-slip pedals....i mean what do u think would go with my interior
also the anti-slip are significantly more expensive

I had the same dilema when deciding which pedals would look better in my Ebony interior. I finally decided on function (and safety) over asthetics.
