So today i realized i must have caught a nice quarter size rock with my driver side fog light lens.

My questions is, once i take off the bumper how hard is it to replace the housing? is it just like a few screws? I tried searching for a guide but didn't find one for the 07 08 TL just RLs and TSXs.

Also anyone have any good experience with a particular replacement fog light housing?

It's held by screw but you have to remove the bumper, however oem foglight housing are $212 for each on delray Acura.

 

ok, thanks because i saw the DIY for the RL and they had to remove exterior trim to get to screws. I wanted to make sure that wasn't the case for me. I can remove the bumper no problem. and the Type S fogs are the same as the regular 07 08 right?

 

No need to remove the exterior trim, just remove the bumper and I belive there is 4 or 5 screws cant remember, is real easy to replace bro, I had to removed the same fog light too....

And yes 07-08 Type S and Base fog lights are the same...

Remove bumper cover
disconnect fog light plug
fog light housing has 3 screws iirc

Fyi depo sells them for 150 a pair and they are glass

Also invest into a clear rockchip blocker film
