Bringing the Legend back?

Bringing the Legend back?
I was at the dealership recently (to get the rear deck rattle repaired) and was talking to one of the sales men about the RL. He was saying that they're getting rid of the RL because they're just sitting on the lot (pretty sad because it's a great car for the money). Then he said they might be bringing back the Legend. Anyone else hear anything about this? As an ex Legend LS coupe owner (one of my all time fav cars) I would really like to know more....

Boomer Sooner!
I subscribe to two car mags and I haven't seen anything (that I remember) about Acura reviving the Legend nameplate.
I too have fond memories of the Legend, in my case my mom's 86 sedan. She bought it in about 1990 and when I first drove it I remember being tremendously impressed - like no Japanese car I'd ever driven. A few years later my wife and I took the car on a road trip from Dallas to SW Colorado and back and it was an excellent car for that trip - powerful enough to cruise easily at 90+ mph on I-40, but with firm enough suspension to handle the curvy highways of CO without drama.
I like to think of my TL as the spiritual successor to that car - basically a re-bodied Accord with a smooth, powerful V6 and a fairly firm 'touring' suspension setup. I can't imagine a new Legend being anything but a Lexus GS competitor, and if so they better bring the RWD platform if they're going to compete.
Me, I like my TL

I parked my WDP TL next to a white RL a few weeks ago and the owner came back to his RL and said nice TL. I said thank you and then he looked at his RL probably expecting me to say nice RL, I didn't. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice car, but the styling blends in too, too much into the environment. At $40-50K you definitely want to stand out.
