Brighter Fog Lights?
I am assuming you are speaking about the bulbs? If you would have search then we have vendors who sell some (ex. VLEDS). Also, there is ebay too. They can range depending on how many leds are in one board.

But for real, just want the color match, I could give a crap about usefulness. I already have "3k" halogen bulbs in there now, and those don't do sheet.
C'mon, who uses their fogs for fog? I foggin don't even drive my car in the foggin rain. I know those mother foggers in San Fran prolly have to use those damn foggers.

Fog lights are not supposed to be used in clear weather anyway. That's why they're called "fog" lights, not "run em' all the time" lights. Some states even have laws against running them in clear weather.
There's a good reason for this BTW. Fog lights provide an increase in lighting a short distance in front of the vehicle. This extra foreground illumination is helpful for feeling your way through dense fog/rain/snow at low speeds. However in clear weather, fog lights cause excessive foreground illumination, which causes your pupils to constrict and actually impairs your distance night vision.
Not to mention that fog lights provide no real benefit at higher speeds either. At 60mph, your fog lights are only illuminating the road about 1/2 a second in front of your car. Fog lights also cause an increase in glare towards other drivers, so using them when they aren't needed is a bit inconsiderate.
For tl;dr: the stock fogs are fine. If you're using your fog lights in weather that is clear enough for drivers to easily notice they don't match your headlights, you're probably using them incorrectly anyway.

I have 4300k 55 watt in my 08 TL they didnt melt the housing like i have seen some people say....but they may not be 55w they arent brighter at all than the 35watt stock...i too would like to get something that has a blueish tint but can illuminate the ground a bit better
Nope, they won't fit. VLEDs does have these though. http://www.vleds.com/5k-white-6-led-...-pair-b-o.html
Can't say if they're actually any good or not.

I guess to each their own. Just please don't go putting HIDs in housings not meant for them. It just annoys the rest of the drivers on the road with the extra glare. Yes, you may be able to see better, but the guy heading right at you can't see crap because of the glare from improperly aimed/configured lights.....this is not directed at any specific poster in this thread...just being a generic Jackass.
What most of people fail to realize is that the "bluish" lights are totally useless on wet road. The higher the temp, the bluer the color, the more useless on the wet road. Blue/Bluish lights are great for show purposes, but if you want to see the road clearly, buy something with color temps of 5300K or below.
This is well worth reading on fog lights
Very interesting articles... Unless you are just decorating your car with lights.
Why fog lights?

I run yellow on my 911 fog lights.
