Brembo painting time - Opinions needed for WDP
So this is my tl as it sits. Im going to be getting the rims powdercoated a dark gunmetal for more of a shine. They are satin grey now. Also! the brembos will be painted but I am stuck between lexus starfire pearl or a goldish bronze flake.
If I go with the goldish bronze flake I will get gold lugs and If I go with the white im not sure on lug colour. http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/...20529-1451.jpg |
Red adds the most horsepower.
Red wouldnt look good on white at all
Red.
Candy apple red?
teal.
Teal
My love for teal is catching on :woot:
Between the two colors you listed, go for bronze. White calipers would look great but not if the white is a totally different shade or pearl color. A deep candy red with white Brembo lettering would look great but it might not stand out as much as you would like. |
most people do teal...but it does look really good on wdp
light blue!
Chrome. lol
I say go for the horsepower!

White and blacks cars can get away with almost any color whether its on wheels, calipers, etc |
I vote black! :tomato: Red does look great as well but looks dull from brake dust in no time.
Teal???? What the heck is wrong with some of you guys, why make your brake calipers stand out using a color like that? Uuuuugllyyy
My vote goes to keeping them the original gloss black. Keep it clean and simple looking. No reason to do any silly colors. |

Where did you get the clear sidemarkers on your TL-S?
I think the goldish bronze would look good! I do love the teal too tho!
Purple for torque gains.

I'm a bit biased so I'd say teal :)
Bronze is nice as well though. |
Hey sick, you painted them or powder coated?
painted!
Go teal if you wanna turn your car into a teenage boys dream car. Keep them black or paint them gold if you want to keep it clean and classy. I wouldnt do gold on my own personal car, but I know they come that way factory on many cars and they look great, and the pictures posted above look awesome on the TL-S with gold calipers!

Thanks James :toocool:

I've heard that red adds 5-10 HP per caliper, but if you want REAL power add a bunch of decals on your ride!

Has nothing to do with short temper and thick skin. There is NO need for you guys to be a bunch of douchebags, but that is your lose and it does tell me a lot about what sort of people you are. Enjoy your pink brakes.
Q...you started it...you were(are) the douche bag.
