Brembo Caliper color for CBP?

Hey guys

Gonna paint my calipers next week, and have been trying to see if there are any colors other than the factory black - which I do like - that would look good on a CBP. The CBP is a tough color to play with...so far, other than black, I like these:

Any ideas?

Anyone with a CBP that can share some photos?

The orange looks nice, personally I like the black the best w/cbp. Your prob going to get a lot of "its not what we like, its that you like" answers. Which is true, whatever pleases YOUR eyes is the right color. Remember you can always redo them if your unhappy with the color.

I powder coated mine, also inner hubs an dust shields. White with pinch silver an black, marbalized. I enjoy these alot, an the brake dust just makes it look like a darker shade until I clean them. These are racing brake 2 piece rotors. They work amazing for anyone not sure if they are worth the price , they are.

Maybe it's the pics, but those just look dirty.

OP: Stock FTW.

Looks different but at first glance it looked like poorly sanded bare metal
I do like it, I'm sure in person it looks good.

Yeah so far I like best too. I know it's what I like, just lookin for ideas thats all. The CBP is a hard color for me to visualize sometimes. I'm removing the calipers for paint, so once painted I wouldnt be doing this again for at least a couple years.

Yeah that wouldnt look bad. I had silver/grey brembos on my S60R though, and they tend to blend in with the rotors a bit, so I'm liking the stock black a little better this time around.

Wow that's different! Would love to see that effect in person, I'm sure it's totally diff than on screen.

Agreed and this is the reason why I'm looking for other ideas. I'm leaning towards a blacked out color scheme for the CBP, so dark wheels would be ok with black calipers, but if I see something else that works I may go for it.

I've seen red on a CBP that looks outstanding and great contrast too.

Leave them OEM gloss black. That color looks best on CBP. Gold would not match anything at all and IMO would degrade the look of the car, not improve it.

Good tips and suggestions from everyone, but so far yes I'm sticking with black. Gonna paint the rears black to match too, I dont want to stick covers over them.

Dude how the hell did you find an 07 with 6-7k miles on it?!?

I originally found it on Atlanta Craigslist. Then someone made a thread on it here on the forums. Most people assumed it was a bullshit Craigslist add when infact it was 100% legit. In the meantime I was on the phone with the seller making arrangements. I bought it a couple months ago with 4,900 miles. The car is literally a 7 year old new car. Factory interior labels are all still in place, the original Bridgestone tires still have their nubs on them lol. Needless to say I'm glad I swiped that one up I love the car. Also, I recently purchased a grand cherokee so I can keep the miles low on the S and in the garage on those crummy weather days and winter. Yeah I know it's just a TL, but it's special to me and there probably isn't another like it so I think that's cool.
Sorry to jack your thread, but that basically sums it up

This picture does look marble, but yeah I would rather keep that on the floor than on a car ; unique nevertheless.

I think gloss black with the brembo decal insted of "acura" would look sharp.

I like the "Acura" I think it looks good when next to it on the highway. Everyone knows what a brembo is by now. Either looks good.
