HPS are good pads but a bit noisy in general
RacingBrake makes an awesome pad in a few compounds to suit your braking style
Rotora makes ceramic and probably semi met pads that are made to use with their rotors

you can buy cheap brake pads but 20 bucks differance now may be the differance in 20 feet stopping distance later
try autozone or kragen for cheap pads

look in Sponsored Sales area for vendor/sponsor offerings

I bought these last week and had it installed for the front. It's light on the pocket and I actually found it browsing this forum. So far so good.

yes I suggest using `maker matched` parts when you can
They design the pad compounds to work with the mettalurgy of their rotors
