brand new here.. 2007 TL base

brand new here guys I’ve always wanted a TL and finally copped one 2 weeks, super excited.

nothing fancy or special but I’m in love with it and can’t wait to add/play with it. I’m not really car wizard by any means so I couls maybe could use some suggestions/tips on how to have it preform the best, be a good TL owner? Or not I’m just figuring out how this works lmao thanks!

need a touch up paint hookup tbh

Congratulations Matt Musolf, You picked one of the best of the best years to start out with. How many miles, any maintenance history? A search of this 3G TL will familiarize You with what to watch out for, and how to best address known issues. Welcome

thanks a lot! I bought it from a certified pre owned dealer and did a bunch of homework on it since it is older and has 120,000miles on it, maintenance looked great everything is still stock no issues whatsoever, only one owner who took really good care of it. i’m taking it to Findlay Acura soon to double check that everything’s great for the long run, just hope I don’t get charged an arm & leg haha

Easiest way to make it perform the best. Stay on top of maintenance and run 91 octane or higher fuel.

Maintenance
- change the oil when the MID tells you too
- transmission fluid - read up on the forums on how often people are changing that...maybe every 50k?? Can't remember, I have a manual so don't have the same intervals.
- brake fluid - bleed the entire system....just do it....

And as already stated, just keep reading. Plenty of details within the forums already.

Try Automotivetouchup.com for touchup paint. My dad and I have used them for 5+ cars and have always had great results. Nice TL!
