nfn, I don't think he means any REAL harm by it...
I guess, depending on the outcome of his thread etc...this might not be totally off base. His approach with posting in another vendor's thread though would warrant getting pissed off.

Correct.

Also, would you buy something from some one if they tried to pass off something as their own!?

we all know the 3G vector art can be found all over the web.

I guess we will find out soon if the customers that already ordered and or cancelled with them get what they wanted. If those guys come back and say they are happy with what they got then I would give him a second chance. I mean shit happens right, and it seems like he is trying to right all of his wrongs and still trying to deal with his own misfortunes in his life.

I think the problem Justin has with them (and I share his feelings on this one) is going into a long time members thread and poach sales from him. That was in poor taste and should not be tolerated, especially by a vendor. That shows a lack of class.

How would you feel if you were selling a set of wheels in the BM and I came in and said "No, wait! Buy mine instead!!"? Im sure that would piss you off just as much (let alone get Ron A involved ).

Yeah, I didn't like that he did that either but it is what it is I guess. People can make up their own mind which vendor they want to go with. I just don't think we needed a separate thread dedicated to shitting on this guy.

Yea, I was in the First 86 program. I was very hesitant to buy a Scion, just because of the badge. I was actually very close to cancelling my order after I sat in the BRZ, but the test drive won me over.

Whether or not its a better choice, that comes down to what youre going to use the car for. As a track toy, go with the Scion. Same car, less weight, less expensive. If you want a daily, get the BRZ. You get nav and HIDs standard (though they do suck), and if you go for the Limited model you get leather/alcantara, heated seats and auto climate control.

As far as dealers go, Im not sure about dealing with them after the sale. My dealer is really fast and theyre nice to work with. The Subaru dealers I dealt with before I bought the FR-S just didnt seem to care. YMMV though.

I do wish Toyota brought over the 86, instead of selling it as a Scion. But you actually get quite a lot getting the FR-S when you take exchange rates into consideration. The 86 RC, which is the absolute base model with unpainted bumpers and steel wheels, translates to a little over $25,000 USD. The FR-S is more of a mashup of the G and GT, which the G translates to just over $30k USD. So all things considered, Toyota isn't making much in the US compared to Japan.

I'm wondering if they are going to raise the MSRP for the 2014 models. They did it for the Tc and that raised the resale values for those that already purchased.

If I had this many shits to give about a $15 f*cking shirt, I'd be reassessing my life's priorities with a bottle of Jim Beam and a .50-cal aimed at my skull.

IT'S A GODDAMN SHIRT.

No, no you didn't. You're questioning a situation under the facade of anonymity and leveraging your well-known presence to suck people in to this mess in an attempt to gain momentum. You provided NO FACTS, NO LINKS, but just threw out a hunk of chum to the sharks in an attempt to stir things up.

It's the same tween, attention-grabbing bullshit that occurs on FB wherein someone posts a powder-keg statement that's bound to draw attention and stir everyone up, then sit back and not offer a single constructive comment about the matter.

Look at the thread title, look at your signature. Either you believe everyone on this forum to be complete imbeciles to believe such a blanket statement or you just plain f*cked up.

I wouldn't be blasting you if you weren't one of the more respected, well-known members of this forum, but WTF, man?

It sucks to lose any amount of money, but I have to agree with the above.

I sent him a email about making a shirt for me, we talked about it long before he was MIA. I have yet to hear anything back from him. If not, oh well.

If Justn is mad about the other thread, he should just say that. I haven't bought from either, but I thought that was a dick move to post in someone else's thread like that. That, on top of the delay with the shirts is sort of like salt on a wound. He already apologized in his own thread and told us why there was a delay which was fine, but why post that in someone else's thread that is selling the same item? Ridiculous. As far as the whole design thing, that could have been done through PM. Posting it in DD's thread will only rile people up, which it obviously did. Not to mention many people are friends with DD.

As far as this topic, it's just as ridiculous. There is no reason to put him on blast like this. You seem mad about the other topic more than anything, and are using the whole thing that happened with his shirts as a premise to do this. If you have a problem with what he did in that thread, just say it. You and I both know he couldn't control what happened with the flood. Even though it could have been handled better, he did it the best way he could.

Going as far as putting BOYCOTT REVINDUSTRIES in your sig is just an overkill dude. What he did in that other thread a cheap shot, and so is this thread. People will make their own decisions on who they will buy from based on their actions.

Also didn't Aaron post in Rev's thread first about selling t-shirts? Isn't that more or less why you are flaming this guy?

Post 337 in Rev's thread if anyone wants to see for themselves.

okay, maybe I was a little heated, which prompted me to make this thread.
Both parties(rev and myself) took cheap shots.

Justin, what the hell.....

I'm glad you apologized-otherwise I would have had something more to say about this. Voicing your disapproval is one thing. Asking for a boycott is another. Please don't let this happen again.
