I think they detract from the clean lines of the car. They clash with the upper body character line.

I have 'em.

The car looks better with out them, but I consider them to be vital to keeping the car ding-free.

Regards,

I actually like the look of the car with the body molding, I think it adds a little extra styling and keeps the car safer.

I like the look also and added it to my A-spec. I also added a moonroof visor and backup sensors.

I also wear reflective, nylon, bellbottom pants, a blonde toupe and white platform shoes!

I love EVERYONE questions - how can it be answered?

I think they are ugly and not needed, almost as bad as the ones on the C5 Corvette.

Acura went to great length to get the bodywork right, and the moldings look to me like the divots left when the character line indent (where the door handles go) was made.

I also think the mud flaps are gross and also unneeded, esp. in the back.

Point is - this is personal preference, and why would anyone need someone else to tell them what they should think?

??

is it a crime to see what other people are thinking?

last time i remember this is a public forum, y would these forums exist if other people with the same car arent curious of what others think?

I personally like the look they give the car. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

I think it looks ugly on our TL. We have a 1 inch inverted line going from the front side marker and past the rear side markers and that does not go well with the Body Side Molding IMO. 2 lines parrell on our TL....spells...

How profound - i think the moldings are just perfect for you - they will lead to bliss. Happy?

Thats why I stated BSM-WWII.. Reflecting this is possibly #2 of another huge thread arguing over the likes or dislikes of BSM's.
