Question body side molding

Made our decision to go for the new TL. Our choice is Ant Gray or Silver.

I want the silver but it has the body side molding already installed. I haven't seen it b/c dealer is 85 miles away.

Does anyone have a better photo of it other than the acura website?

If I want to take it off do you think it's possible? Maybe it's just stuck on with two sided tape and I can use a hair dryer to peel it off?

Do a search, there is a thread concerning body side molding. Depending on the color of the car, I think the molding is a great addition considering if you park in tight spots at work or around town.

I did before posting this and nothing returned.

I used:
body side molding
side molding
molding

Maybe there is another term used here?

Try "BSM" and that should get you more hits.

I have BSM on my silver TL. I think it looks good and complements the fine lines of the car. The actual purpose of course is to protect the door from dings---in the world we live in, you can never have enough protection.

The search function still doesn't work so even with "BSM" you would only get 2 hits, including this thread. The search function should be back up soon but right now is limited to new threads only.

I have BSM on my white TL and like it, but it is still a matter of personal taste.

Do you have a photo of yours anywhere online?

There are some pictures in this thread. I don't think there are any silver colors but you can get an idea of what the BSM look like.

Well, as noted above, the search function appears to be a bit screwy still.....but, when it does get back to its normal pace, BSM might help.

It's cool.....we're all "Newbies for Life" my friend.

I found what I was looking for without searching. Just keep going page by page.

Thanks for the help.
