Blue or Silver

I'm looking at getting a used TL. This forum has been very helpful. I've found two online that I like and here are the links. Both grey interiors (I live in Vegas, so black would be too hot), both with navigation, and both with similiar mileage. Price is going to come out pretty close too b/c I've been talking to the dealership of the silver one.

I can't decide if I like the blue or silver color. Any opinions? The eBay auction will end in two days!

Thanks

i would rather get one that is local and that you could check out and test drive before you buy it. if colors dont mind to you, you should get he one in best condition and lowest miles. there are a lot of tl's floating around so dont be in no hurry to rush things. also the blue one i notice its missing the P where the shifter is?

Sounds like you would be happy with either color. I agree that you should get the one in better condition. From the pics, though it's hard to say, the interior on the silver one looks better maintained.

Less people have the blue color so you would stand out more. But silver does hide dirt better. IMO silver FTW!

In this case silver. If you can't make that decision based on how bad everything is about the blue one's listing, then good luck.

I'm leaning twoards the silver actually. I think that is one of the best colors for the TL. I'm curious as to what is so bad about the ebay listing though. I saw some problems with the plastic in the center console and a couple of other minor things, but overall I think it looks pretty good. Am I missing something? I'm pretty sure it will be cheaper too...

omlette...blue is a very unique color TL while the Silver is a very classic color. VQPower is right...Silver won't show dirt as much.

I would choose the blue one much nicer color and it seems to show off the lines of the TL more than the silver ones I see on the road.

look at my blue baby, Its a beutiful color if you like dark blue which I do, but it gets dirty way to fast and it shows, unlike silver. I love my color thou. I would have got a silver if they had it at my Mileage range when I bought mine in last summer. GOod Luck.

Go for silver. Navy blue looks terrible on all cars. Sorry to everyone with a blue TL (KBP doesn't count though!)

I say you go for the silver also, that blue isn't very nice on the TL. Also the black interior looks a lot better than the gray one does.

Take it from somebody who has always owned black cars and who just bought a Silver TL. I will never get a dark color car again!

I'd say silver too. If you by chance wanted someone to check out the blue one in person, its only 10min away from work so I'd be happy to check it out for you. Just PM me.

I'm kind of partial to the Silver. Understand, what with weather constraints, why you prefer the Quartz interior, but I love my ebony interior. Good luck with the decision, but as many posts have said the silver really does stay clean looking. I've got road salt all over mine right now and you really can't tell until you get right on top of the car. I can't imagine how crappy the blue would look with our winters here.

You guys surprise me about the Silver. My Type S is Silver and the color had to grow on me. I like it now-it's a classic color. I came from a red car and would have gotten another red one again. I didn't have a choice when I bought my Type S.

Same here bro. I had a black truck and a dark green accord before
I got my TL. The only TL in my price range was this used Silver one.
I didnt like it at first. But now I love silver.

Me too Jay. I just got lucky and fell into my Type S. On New Year's Eve last year, the dealership had a 2007 Type S that was turned back in because the original owner didn't like the paint job....can you believe it??? They were just trying to get out of the car. Plus, it was the end of the month and end of the year. I got my car at dealer cost (for a base TL).
