I called Brembo a week ago and they didn't have a brake kit out yet for the 04. Im not sure that those rotors are brembo. They did say you could get away with using the rotors from the 03, but they were a little smaller and there was NO warrenty. Please someone correct me if im wrong.

That car is too much grey. The cleared lenses and the grey wheels take what little color is left out of it.

you are correct, that is because you have the 13" brembo's.

Those are rotora's, they also come in red.

Is a rotora kit, about $1,500.00 for the set.

I hope that was a joke :lol1:

In case it was not, all TL's already have ventilated disc. If they are not ventilated, then they are solid, like the rear ones on the TL.

The front rotors appeared to be slotted and cross-drilled.

Anyone notice the caption said 04 TL Type-S?

Looks like his front rotor is intalled in the wrong direction. The slot is suposed to go the other way.

That is the correct way, at least as far as I know.

The rear is the right way, but the front is the wrong way. The leading edge is suppose to start at the center and go towards the outer edge.

You're right they flipped the left and right rotor. But the only adverse effect will be shorter brake life.

I don't think they are cross-drilled, I would guess they are dimpled and slotted similar to the ebc rotors.

They do look great, but I would have upgraded the rear caliper and used a larger rotor back there.

I know people who have paid close to a grand PER rim. Some rims are even more expensive...maybe the site will have more info?

they look almost the same to me. minus all the screws of course, which i dont think look all that good on a TL anways.

the fronts are correct. (slot like this \ )

the rears are not. (suposed to be like this \ too not like this / )

i have rotora rotors and on the box it said to put them like the fronts are.

i put them on like the rears tho.. (slot like this / on the left side) cuz the pads will last longer and the braking difference isnt really noticeable anyway..

so bitium was right

btw, if u still dont believe me look at this, it's right off the rotora official website.. look at the 6th pic of the first column... it's the right front wheel...

different brakes are meant to be put on differently, the slots you have to refer back to factory setup. my ap racing has the same direction setup as shown in the brembo. i am not saying the brembo are installed correctly coz' i don't have them, but there is no one standard correct way to do it, it's all up to manufacturer...

those are hre wheels, one of the most expensive out there. the guy has i think 18s 546R on the car, that's not too bad, retail would be about 4500? it gets expensive when you go to 20s and staggered setup like 10 or even 11 in the back. just imagine the 20x8.5 and 20x10 hre i have on my car
