Block heater for 2006 TL
lift the car up and look on the actual block of the engine. There is a metal screw/plug on there. You unscrew that where a whole bunch of coolant is gonna drip out. Then you screw in the block heater and refill coolant. I had this done on my 2g TL and I am sure that it's the same for 3G. I don't drive my 3g in the winter that much so I had no need for that.

Since this car was originally purchased in Calgary (Canada), should it not have been factory equipped with a block heater?
