Hey guys i have a black 05 tl and ive blacked everything out so far exept the grille. I need to take off the the silver pieces around the grille but i dont want to without knowing the right way. i dont want to pop them off and then not be able to pop them back on


any ideas how to pop these out?

once poped i sand and spray paint ill have pics

 

It will be easier if u take off the bumper. Once r behind the grill there is a few screws and clamps. It's pretty easy to take apart and put back together.

I would say wrap it in vinyl or cf material. I've painted my grill a few times and it keeps chipping. Either way good luck to you.

 

yeah ive heard about taking off the bumper that makes me nervous idk why lol i guess if theres no other way i will do that thanks alot!

^^^ you could do that. To take off the bumper there is a diy video. All it like 3 screw and the rest are clips. U have to get to know the car while you are modding.GL
