Black plastic underneath the car near the bumper

There is a black plastic strip that is clearly for airflow or debris deflection underneath the car in front of the front wheels. I ran over some junk in the road and the piece on the passenger side snapped off. I am not sure how to fix it and have tried 2x at Acura dealerships to get them to replace it. Even with my offering to pay, they haven't done it. They have also managed to order the wrong part for me 1x.

Can someone tell me the part number for this thing?

I have a 2005 Navi AT.

TYIA!!!

If that's the part, it looks like it just bolts on. Easy fix........

It looks like the part, but Acura ordered this thing for me and it turned out to be wrong. I cannot figure out what they did wrong and they are looking at the same diagram. The part I'm talking about doesn't look to have a bolt.

Also, I've seen it hanging on other people's TLs...

if it doesn't use a bolt, is it a clip on? is there anyway for you to take a picture and point to where the item is? better yet, find another tl, take a picture and show which part you are talking about.
Did acura tell you what is wrong with it? the shape is off? wrong part? can't bolt/clip it back on?

that piece is part of the front fender liner. it's attached to the whole thing no,bolts, no removable clip. there's a stamped plastic rivet or clip holding it there.

here http://www.acuraoemparts.com/delray/...All&vinsrch=no
it's part # 5-9 depending on which side you want. in the illustration it cant be seen because it's on the bottom portion of the part, but thats it. im %99 sure of iit!

For something like that, just go to your local hardware store buy a Stainless steel size 8-32 bolt, washer, and nut. Drill a hole, and assemble. Shouldn't be more than $0.90, here's

The same thing happened to me a few months ago when I ran over a piece of retread. Mine is just hanging there and I was able to recover the metal pop rivet. I was just going to try and attach it with some epoxy.

I was able to use the poprivet for a while, but after Distorted Reality's post I just zip tied it back on there. Hopefully that will work better than the OEM...
