Black interior what color and year TL besides white and black,ssm has it?

 

Ive seen black in pretty much every type s color.. idk about base tho.

 

ASM and ebony interior over here.

04-06= anthracite metallic, SSM, NBP, RRP, WDP (starting in 06 unless special order i believe), DGP?, ABP?

ususally the grays, silvers, blacks can come with black interior in any year. the reds, blues, greens, golds...depends on what they offered. black interiors seem to be hard to come by in these colors.

 

dont be lazy when you ask a question. its not clear what your trying to ask.

thats EBONY (gray)...black interiors started from 06...

04+05- Gray interiors....NO BLACK
06+ - Black interiors on all except Red/Gold (forget the color code)

 

swoosh-you are incorrect. i have an 05...with a BLACK interior. ebony IS black (you dont' remember the song "ebony and ivory"?) not gray. the gray is called taupe. camel is the darker tan interior. parchment is a lighter tan color.

check the acura website. ebony is BLACK.

you could get a black interior inside a WDP...(special order). it was not offered as a regular option until 2006.

 

04- 06 TL's - Gray is called Quartz. Taupe is a different color in it of itself.

 

thank you for the clarification...i knew there was another color option. taupe is a lighter shade of gray (quartz). peeking at the acura website and their current interior color selections...taupe (the color is not what i envision as taupe), is a light gray. quartz if i remember correctly is a true medium gray color.

Perhaps a better question would be "What year and color TL does NOT come with a black interior?"

I know of one exclusion: WDP did not have a black interior before 06 (my year/model).

am test driving an 06 for a friend of mine....she didnt know what to look for....and the dealer (sales guy) did not see i came in a 05 TL so I thought will keep him in the dark about it....

me: ohhh good power
him: yeah 260 to the wheels....
me: kidding me....260 to the crank....more like 210-215 to the wheels
him: ohh no...Acura is very particular about this
me: if its 260 to the wheels i will pay double for this car....else u give it to me for free ?
him: i will have to recheck in that case

i laugh out loud and when we get back show him my modded car....and tell him, its 260 to the crank....you will make ALL OF ACURAZINE happy if you prove its 260 to the wheels....LOL....

I have a 2008 base w/ nav with blk on blk....

 

My 07 carbon gray pearl has black interior. The black looks much better, in my opinion.

 

i love outsmarting the sales dept. i think it freaks them out if you know more about the car than they do. i did that when i bought my MDX...started blurting out the service codes that were performed on it, and my salesman was like he even drives a 4GTL and doesn't know the maintenance codes.

so where is the OP? assuming he is looking for a car based on a black interior now.

I did this when I took them my switchblade key for them to program. Service manager told me it couldn't be done. I assured him it could, because the code on the keys was the same. He didn't believe me and said he was going to try to program my key himself.
Came back 15 minutes later and said he'd learned something today.
