I was reading the original release Honda news letter about the 08 TL Type-S and It states that the car comes with "black chrome" front bumper and grill trim, and as far as I can see the trim on mine is not at all black, it is just straight shiny regular chrome. Now the rear tail lights have black chrome in them, I would have thought that would have looked great on the front as well. I was looking at aftermarket options, but I really hate to have to remove my bumper for fear that it just won't line up right after re installation.

 

best option is to wrap your grill.....the description of Honda is their description of the color.....the grill is more gunmetal than black or chrome IMO

 

usually it is most noticeable right next to a Base model.

 

It's more of a dark chrome than black chrome.
