Beware eBay TL Type-S

Oh boy I love the description "The vehicle has a salvage title due to a small accident." I would hate to see what they think a big accident looks like.

Would it even be worth while to fix. Im pretty sure the engine cradle is bent, the frame is bent and the subframe is bent. Not to mention the other 75% of the car

You can ask the seller on eBay as it appears to be fixed but what you can't see scares me.

I doubt that is the same car. Probably just a coincidence that you found two that are the same color

From the "cup half full" viewpoint, they may mean "small accident" in terms of the BODY of the car. From the photos up top, the bumper exploded and the fenders / hood got their shit pushed in. Maybe it's my untrained eye but even bent, the hood still loox to line up with both fenders which attach to the engine cradle sides so I doubt they're damaged. I'd ask the seller to take a photo with the front bumper and cowl off to see how they repaired the rebar and metal where the cowl attaches. If they replaced the headlights, bumper, fenders, hood, radiator (where the hood and rebar pushed it's shit in), airbags, rear passenger door, & sideskirt and repaired the frontend, lower portion on rear passenger door opening, and maybe the B pillar, then yeah, small accident works for those who aren't savvy enough like the junior detectives here to find the wrecked photos. It'd be a good buy IMO if it came with a 2-year warranty or they paid to have Acura give it a full inspection.

If you can get it for around $15k maybe it's an OK deal ?

I don't know how these things go....but $8-10k savings is a lot....

RedsTL, cars like that have deformation on main frame of the car. It will be dangerous to drive at high speed. Something could go wrong, because of damage. 4 wheels are already unbalanced. I know what I'm saying. Because, I tried a lot of post-accident cars.
If you want change $8-10K to your life go ahead.

if you were to total the car a second time, i'd imagine it being extremely difficult in getting money from insurance.

it could be repairable title, if only it has damage from front side. But, car had huge damage from passenger side. If it was my money I wont buy that box of death or shit.

The portion of the bumper beneath the headlight and around the wheel well.

Most of the viewable damage is to PARTS which are easily replaced. I think seeing that rebar pushed in, the passenger door (replace-able) bent up, and the salvage title thing makes it easy to form a cumulative conscience and just say "Write it off as a piece of shit".

I agree with RedsTL. An S w/ Nav for under 10k would be a great deal but only if (BIG IF) they gave some kind of warranty or were willing to pay for a full inspection. We can speculate all day how the frame COULD be damaged but we'll never know how extensive without literally seeing the car stripped completely down. No matter how the seller described it, major or minor, they made note to mention it was in an accident. That leaves it to bidders to do proper research like you guys did by researching the VIN, finding the photos and noticing the paint. So don't feel "sorry" for the bidders, call them "suckers", or accuse the seller of fraud. They're not being duped. The information is out there. One can only hope that the bidders are not trying to buy the car clear across country and are close enough to take a mech with them to check things out. Also hope that the paint guy and the body repair guy aren't the same guy.
